As Christ Taught us to Pray

ONE cannot help but see the injustice gaining ground in the world today — with racial hatred becoming more and more pronounced and dangerous.

Christians should pray the Lord's Prayer which Jesus taught His disciples to pray: "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us

this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13).

That is the prayer God's people should pray each day and hour more fervently: "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." We know that will come to pass when Jesus comes back. He said, "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again." He is coming in the azure above to translate the living and the sleeping saints, and reward them according to their faithfulness. Then He will return with ten thousands of His saints, to reign on the earth in righteousness.

It is then God will clean up this world and remove the curse from it. He will overthrow the wicked. Then all the racial hatred will be done away with. God's people will all be one, and will enjoy the fruits of their labors in this world where they suffered and went through sorrows. A thousand years we shall reign with Christ upon this earth — without regard to race or color.

We have here in our church at the Headquarters representatives from almost every nation of the earth. All are welcome; and they, prove themselves to, be loyal as Christians and as peaceful citizens. In the Gospel our desire is only that their hearts be washed whiter than the snow, in the Blood of the Lamb.
